Package details include:

Bustling San Francisco is the perfect spot for a Girlfriend Getaway. Non-stop entertainment, beautiful nature spots, art galleries and museums, and delectable dining characterize this colorful city. Visitors also appreciate the roller coaster-like streets, diverse population, and buzz of commerce that reaches from Fisherman's Wharf to Nob Hill.

You'll enjoy a private Nordstrom event, a private cable car tour of the city's most popular sites, a visit to the King Tut exhibit at the DeYoung Museum, and attend a performance of Beach Blanket Babylon, a zany musical comedy.

Then head north for two days in the Sonoma wine country. On the way, stop to nuzzle puppies during a tour of the Guide Dogs for the Blind School in San Rafael. Upon arrival, savor a wine tasting and private tour at Chateau St. Jean winery, then top off your vacation with a private Wine & Dine cooking class.

Day 1 – Arrive in San Francisco
Fly into San Francisco and transfer on your own to the Villa Florence Hotel just one-half block from Union Square in the heart of the shopping district of San Francisco. Meet your AAA Sojourns escort and fellow members of your group in the lobby at 6:30 pm and walk to a popular local restaurant for a Welcome Dinner.

Day 2 – San Francisco
This morning, walk to Nordstrom for an exclusive event. Enjoy a continental breakfast and learn about the latest in fashion trends from the experts at this popular store. There will be free time for shopping at Nordstrom and other stores including Bloomingdales. Lunch is on your own and the afternoon is free. You will receive a one-day bus/cable car pass so that you can explore the sites of San Francisco. This evening, take the cable car to North Beach to see Beach Blanket Babylon, a zany musical comedy. Following the show, enjoy dinner at a local Italian restaurant.

Day 3 – San Francisco
Depart this morning on a private cable car tour of the popular sites of San Francisco. See crooked Lombard Street, Fisherman's Wharf area, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Presidio and Ocean Beach. Stop for brunch at a local restaurant and then continue into Golden Gate Park. See the King Tut Exhibit at the DeYoung Museum. Afterwards, you are free to explore other areas of the park on your own including the Japanese Tea Garden and the beautiful new California Academy of Sciences. Return to the hotel via the Culture Bus which stops a few blocks from Union Square. The remainder of the day is free to explore more of San Francisco's sights. Dinner is on your own.

Day 4 – Sonoma Wine Country
Following breakfast, board a motor coach for the Sonoma Wine Country. Our first stop is the Guide Dogs for the Blind School where you will learn about the organization and take a private walking tour of the grounds. You may even get to see the puppies! Then travel north to Chateau St. Jean, where you'll be greeted with a glass of wine and escorted to the gardens for a private tour. Next, enjoy private reserve wine tasting and a picnic lunch on the patio. Continue to your hotel just four blocks from historic Sonoma Plaza. The remainder of the afternoon is free. Dinner is on your own.

Day 5 – Sonoma
Enjoy continental breakfast at your hotel. Today is free to enjoy Sonoma and your surroundings. Explore the town of Sonoma with its wonderful shops and restaurants. Pamper yourself by scheduling a massage or treatment at the Garden Spa facility or relax by the pool. Winery tours, hot air ballooning, horseback riding and other activities can be arranged. This evening you are in for a real treat as we go to Ramekins for our farewell event. Enjoy a private Wine & Dine cooking class with a demonstration of a four-course dinner, tastings of wine paired with each course, and recipes to take home.

Day 6 – Depart San Francisco
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and board the coach to return to San Francisco. You will either be dropped off at San Francisco airport for your flight home or at the Villa Florence Hotel if you are extending your stay.
