Responsibilities: |
The Emergency Roadside Service (ERS) Fleet Driver provides emergency roadside service to AAA members and non members by performing various mechanical and technical services including battery boost, tire changes, lock-out and towing services. Fleet Drivers represent the organization as a professional member service specialist in all assignments and contacts. Fleet Drivers utilize communication equipment; maintain accurate and legible records, logs, and reports. Fleet Drivers maintain required driver’s license and an excellent driving record. |
Requirements: |
- Working knowledge of AAA membership benefits; familiarity with products and resources of other AAA departments
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills; ability to gain information from individuals by asking appropriate questions
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work well with others
- Proficient with communication devices such as cellular phones and GPS equipment
- Ability to read maps, and follow written and verbal geographic directions to find the most practical and time efficient routes
- General mechanical knowledge and ability to work well with hands
--Valid Oklahoma driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
--Familiarity with the Oklahoma City, Edmond area and surrounding suburbs required
--Ability to work varying shifts/days/overtime required
--Previous driving experience required with one year of towing experience preferred
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of high school and/or technical school, or equivalent combination of work experience/education.
